QUASAR

Quasar is a Brazilian independent investment manager across multiple business segments, with emphasis on fundamental analysis and has pioneered Direct Lending in Brazil.

The firm was found in 2016 by a group of executives with large experience in the financial markets and long track record in asset management.

INVESTORS

Quasar is specialized in investing. Our funds portfolio offer risk-adjusted returns in different asset classes, focusing on capital preservation, adequate to different investors risk profiles. Our investors trust an experienced team with expertise in Latam markets, diversifying their portfolio to an uncorrelated asset class compared to developed economies.

COMPANIES

Since 2008, after the financial crisis that shook global markets, corporate credit has been passing through a period of transformation. Our strategy is based on this redefinition and disintermediation process. We aim to establish long term relationships companies offering flexible long-term solutions, adequate to particularities of each business, allowing better refinance terms and capex.

APPROACH AND INVESTMENT PROCESS

Proactive approach in generating, selecting and analyzing investments opportunities for our different strategies. We obey an extensive screening process, with focus on a fundamental analysis, regulated by manuals and committees with vetoes and votes. Once a specific investment is approved by a process-oriented track, it will be subject to continuous monitoring process regulated by a specific area.
